On
June 26th, 2008, my son/grandson (Lucas), underwent his
second open heart surgery at only 3 years of age. We were
optimistic that it would be his last.
Realizing the challenges
that lay before us, we agreed that the best way to help
Lucas in his speedy recovery, would be to be in charge
of our own destiny's. WE decided that instead of working
for someone else that might not understand why we had
to "call-in sick" on any given day, we would
be accountable to only each other.
Together,
mother and daughter, we searched high and low for a business
that we could have fun with. We have had some of the best
times shopping and going through little shops and boutiques
in each other company. We decided working side by side
could be as fun as shopping and our hunch was right. We
had the fortune of finding, "My Daughter's Closet".
We jumped on the opportunity and haven't looked back.
To it's credit, we have enjoyed "playing store",
re-dressing mannequins, rearranging clothes and shoes
and sometimes even playing dress-up. We invite you to
come and share the experience and enjoy it as much as
we have.
We
are still in our infancy stage and will continue to make
changes and progress. We are transitioning from just a
consignment store to a "new and consigned" boutique.
We will carry many different items, and not just clothing.
We are expanding our inventory and will feature many new
articles.
Remember, some of the best
kept secrets are hiding in a closet... My Daughter's Closet.
